Assumption graduates mark 50th reunion

WISCONSIN RAPIDS -- The Assumption High School class of 1957 held its 50th reunion Aug. 11 at Lake Aire. Thirty-seven of 78 graduates attended.

Eleven members are deceased: Bob Wettstein, Ed Obermeier, Ruth Johnson, Donna Ilk, George Casey, Marylynn Petta, Donna Miller, Dave Pavloski, Norbert Wirth, Dawn Kubisiak and Donna Spranger.

Attending Assumption High School’s 1957 class reunion are Pat Getzin, back from left, Tom Lila, Bill Halbur, John Dunigan, Tom Love, Don O’Connor, David Akey, Jerry Schenk, Francis Passineau and John Cattanach; John Hahner, front from left, Phil Murphy, George Smullen, Don Regalia, Bill Sullivan, Bill Dunn and LeRoy Borski.
