The Right Choice for Christian Students

The System

Wisconsin Rapids Area Catholic Schools is a unified school system of the Diocese of La Crosse comprising a preschool-kindergarten program at St. Lawrence parish, two outlying K-6 programs at St. Philip's in Rudolph and Sacred Heart in Nekoosa, a central K-6 system at Our Lady Queen of Heaven and St. Vincent's in Wisconsin Rapids, and Assumption Middle School and High School.

The Ministry

WRACS serves the Roman Catholic Church, the Diocese of La Crosse, and the parishes of Wisconsin Rapids by providing an education rich in the traditions of Catholicism. WRACS teachers work for the bishop in propagating the essentials of Catholic faith: a service mentality, moral uprightness, forgiveness of others, the work ethic. Students are challenged in rigorous core courses to prepare themselves to contribute to a complex world.

The Vision

WRACS works with families to form students in academic, emotional, and spiritual growth. The school seeks input from parents to assist in establishing the goals and formulating the programs for growth and discipline. Students are encouraged to pray, to commit in favor of achievement and service, and to seek God's will in the development of personal and professional goals.
