Mrs. Joan Bond is the Principal of Sacred Heart School and Assumption Middle School. Mrs. Bond has been with WRACS for eleven years. She has an Elementary Education Degree, Nursing Degree, and a Masters in Leadership. She and her husband have two children in college. Mrs. Bond enjoys being with friends.

Mrs. Phyllis Stensberg has been the Secretary/Administrative Assistant at Sacred Heart School for 13 + years. Phyllis graduated from Nekoosa High School and worked at Nekoosa Schools for some years as a secretary. She took a course on childcare through the University of Wisconsin after her son started Kindergarten. She lives two miles out of Nekoosa with her husband Kevin of 26 years. Their one son, Jeremy, is a machinist who lives in Antigo, Wisconsin and will be getting married this year. Phyllis enjoys the outdoors and reading in her free time.

Mrs. Sabra Nowicki, the Kindergarten and K-4 Teacher, graduated from UW-Stevens Point with a degree in Early Childhood Education and a minor in Special Education. She has been a resident of Nekoosa for nine years. Sabra enjoys reading, walking, and doing crafts.

Mrs. Amber Carroll, the Third and Fourth Grade Teacher, grew up in Rudolph. She is an alumni of St. Phillips and AHS. She went to UW-Stevens Point and graduated with a major in Elementary Education and a minor in English. She is currently the freshman volleyball coach for AHS and an 8th grade CCD teacher at St. James in Vesper. Amber loves to read, play with her two cats, and hang out with her two nieces.

Mrs. Michelle Bulin, the Fifth and Sixth Grade Teacher, has a Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education and is currently working on obtaining a Wisconsin Reading License. Mrs. Bulin has been a member of the Sacred Heart Parish for ten years and is very active with the CCD classes. In her spare time she likes to spend time with her husband, watching their four children play sports, playing golf, and reading.

Mrs. Mary Sculley, an Assumption alumni, graduated from UWSP with majors in Art Education and Drama, and a minor in Psychology in 1984. She teaches art classes. Mary is married with three children. She makes Baptismal gowns, is involved in Boy and Girl Scouts, and enjoys spending time with her family.

This is Mrs. Peggy Wettstein’s 15th + years with us as the Music Teacher at Sacred Heart. Mrs. Wettstein is the Director of Liturgical Music/Organist at both Sacred Heart Parish and Saint Alexander’s Parish, where she directs both adult and youth choirs. She also directs the State Homemaker’s Chorus (Wisconsin Friendship Chorus), which is composed of ladies from all over the state. Mrs. Wettstein teaches second grade CCD, private piano lessons, plays for weddings and funerals, and is the general leader of our local 4-H Club. She and her husband, Doug, have a blended family of six children ages 13-22; and together they enjoy hobby farming with cows and sheep!

Mrs. Jess Chipley-Trudeau is a graduate of Arizona State University. She teaches 4th -6th grade band at Sacred Heart School, 4th - 6th grade band for schools in the Wisconsin Rapids area, and 9th - 12th grade band and choir at Wisconsin Valley Lutheran High School. Her hobbies include music, animals, and sports (especially hockey and baseball). She and her husband have one son who attends Brigham Young University.

Mr. Mike Schulte is the Physical Education/Health Teacher at both Sacred Heart School and Assumption. He graduated with a Bachelors degree in Physical Education K-12 and Health. He coaches baseball and girls tennis at Assumption High School. Mr. Schulte is blessed with a wife and two small children.
