Located on the banks of the Wisconsin River in Nekoosa, Sacred Heart School participates in the life of Sacred Heart Parish and serves students in grades Pre-K-6.

Mission Statement

The mission of Sacred Heart School is to provide for the personal, spiritual, academic, and emotional needs of each child. We use a variety of teaching styles, technology, and active learning with developmentally appropriate activities. Sacred Heart School provides quality Catholic education. This is characterized by worship and understanding through celebration of school and parish liturgies, prayer, sacraments, and service to the community.

"What I like about this school (Sacred Heart) is that if you are sad , the teachers will always find out why you are sad and make your day better. They will call you names like "angel and sweetie," especially Miss Stensberg. She says those names to me when I was in preschool and she is still saying those names now in fifth grade.
