Located centrally on the east side of Wisconsin Rapids, Assumption Middle School is housed on the west wing of the Assumption High School building and serves students in grades 7 and 8.

Assumption Middle School community commits itself to providing an education that facilitates the formation of values and attitudes, as well as, the whole person; emotionally, socially, physically, spiritually, and intellectually. We proudly serve grades seven and eight as we provide:

  • A learning community which stresses Catholic values and Christian virtue
  • A partnership with parents to nurture and guide their child through the challenges of adolescence
  • A wide range of academic, social, and physical experiences to help students discover more about themselves in relation to their family, peers, and the world around them
  • A REACH program which focuses on the social and emotional needs of the student and promotes a positive self-image
  • An academic program which includes core subjects such as pre-algebra, algebra, geography, history, science, grammar, and literature. In addition, students have classes in Phy. Ed, computer applications, health, art, and music
  • A broad selection of extracurricular activities including Yearbook Club, Student Newspaper/Computer Club, Student Council, God Squad, Jazz Band, Show Choir, Drama Club, Junior Academic Decathlon, and Battle of the Books
  • An athletic program which includes: football, volleyball, softball, basketball, soccer, baseball, and track a study strategy program to assist students in achieving academic success
